History

D&B Engineering was established in 1971 as a manufacturers' representative selling McQuay, HVAC products in the northern New Jersey area.

Today, D&B has grown to represent over 20 different manufacturers' of high quality HVAC equipment.

With 12 sales engineers backed up by additional inside application engineers and support staff, D&B provides an unparalleled level of customer support to Consulting Engineers, Building owners and Mechanical contractors.

In 1986 we created D&B Parts Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of D&B Engineering. D&B Parts supports our valued customers with easy access to high quality HVAC replacement parts such as compressors, motors, filters and PTAC replacement chassis’ to name a few.

Our Approach

At D&B, our engineers will partner with you in all aspects of your project, from the beginning design phase to the post-sale warranty. D&B achieves this by teaming up with the professionals involved at every level.

We work directly with Owners and Consulting Engineers in the design of HVAC systems for Institutional, Commercial and Industrial applications. Our technical capabilities and applications knowledge will give you the information and insight you need for every project and every application, every time.

We also work with Mechanical and General Contractors providing you with equipment that is delivered on time and within your budget. During manufacturing we communicate with the factory keeping an eye on construction schedule changes and coordinate deliveries accordingly. After delivery we offer startup and warranty service when required. We guarantee you outstanding service from the proposal stage and initial sale through the projects’ completion and beyond.

IBC 2000 Certification

McQuay International, working in conjunction with D&B Engineering, is the first manufacturer of air conditioning equipment to announce their efforts towards full IBC certification in 2004.

D&B is a proud member of the United States Green Building Council and Executive Board members of the NJ Sustainable Business Alliance. We are on the leading edge of LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building design. Other memberships include Ashrae, the NJ Society of Energy Engineers, the Hospital Engineering Society of Greater NY and The Health Facilities Management Society of NJ.
